Substrate requirement
The substrate must comply with the applicable standards, must be solid, free of loose particles, free of dust, paint, residues of demoulding products and efflorescence. It must be sufficiently rough, dry and evenly absorbent. The surface shall not be frozen or water-repellent. The substrate shall be stable in volume.
Substrate preparation
Depending on the absorbency of the substrate and climatic conditions, especially in warm weather, moisten the masonry sufficiently to prevent the mortar from drying out prematurely. In cold weather, on the other hand, the masonry must be dry. The substrate must comply with the applicable regulations, norms or recommendations of the material manufacturer.
Preparation of the mixture
Pour 25 KG of CEMIX 1351 MASONRY MORTAR 5MPa into 5.75 - 7 L of clean water. Mix 5 minutes using a drum mixer or by means of a slow-running propeller mixer to a homogeneous mixture without lumps.
Let the mixture ripe for 3 minutes. Then mix briefly again.
Use suitable machines for machine processing.
