Area of application
- Outdoors: wall
- Indoor: wall
Processing method
- For hand and machine processing
- Masonry mortar for the construction of new and old residential buildings, public buildings, industrial buildings (ceramic masonry, brick, stone, concrete block, gas concrete, etc.). According to the static designs, it can be used for the construction of load-bearing walls, pillars, chimneys and partitions, depending on the different loads.
Processing details

Substrate requirement
The substrate must comply with the applicable standards, must be solid, free of loose particles, free of dust, paint, residues of demoulding products and efflorescence. It must be sufficiently rough, dry and evenly absorbent. The surface shall not be frozen or water-repellent. The substrate shall be stable in volume. The substrate and the masonry blocks must be prepared in accordance with the instructions of the architect and the masonry block manufacturer.
Substrate preparation
Depending on the absorbency of the substrate and the climatic conditions, especially in warm weather, moisten the masonry adequately to prevent the mortar from drying out prematurely. In cold weather, if used as a mortar, the masonry must be dry.
Preparation of the mixture
Pour 25 KG of CEMIX 1303 MASONRY MORTAR 3MPa into 4 L of clean water. Mix using a concrete mixer, slow-running propeller mixer, horizontal mixer (e.g. PFT HM24) or by hand into homogeneous mixture without lumps.
Let the mixture ripe for 3 to 5 minutes. Then stip up again briefly.
Use suitable machines for mechanical processing.

Processing instructions
Apply by hand, using traditional masonry tools and following the masonry procedures. Spread the mass on the prepared substrate with mason's trowel or mortar sledge. Immediately after the mortar is applied, set the block and level it out. Always follow the technical specifications of the manufacturer of the masonry unit when preparing the masonry. Unless the manufacturer of the masonry unit specifies otherwise, fill both horizontal and vertical grouts.
