FINE INTERMEDIATE PLASTER
For strong and perfectly smooth walls
Cement levelling for impact-resistant underlay of finishing plasters
- Max 0,6 mm grain size: to smoothen the base plaster before applying finishing plaster or paint.
- Good vapour permeability: provides a pleasant indoor climate.
- High strength: resistant to damage.
- Round grain shape: easy to smoothen.
- Cement based: robust for indoors and outdoors.
Area of application
- Outdoors: wall
- Indoor: wall
Processing method
- For hand processing
- Vapour-permeable, smoothing plaster for external and internal masonry of new and old residential buildings, public buildings, industrial objects. It can be applied on manual or machine applied base plasters or on traditionally prepared base plasters. The prepared surface may be painted, wallpapered or coloured with thin layers of plaster.

Substrate requirement
Simultan quartz sand smoothing plaster is applied over lime-cement base plasters that are of suitable strength and free from dust and dirt. Substrate temperatures between +5°C and +25°C are recommended.
Substrate preparation
Before starting work, cover the surfaces to be protected!
Prior to application, ensure uniform water absorption on wall surfaces by pre-wetting.
Preparation of the mixture
Simultan quartz sand smoothing plaster is mixed with water at the construction site. Mixing can be done in a concrete mixer, with a horizontal mixer (e.g. PFT HM24), occasionally with a mixing machine (using a suitable mixing arm) or by hand.
Consumption: 1 bag (25 kg) is sufficient for 5-8 m2 in 2-3 mm layer thickness. The exact material requirement can be determined by test application.

Processing instructions
It is recommended to apply with a trowel. The thickness of the layer is determined by the quality of the base plaster surface. The thickness of the layer to be applied is approx. 3 mm. If a completely smooth surface is required, the applied smoothing mortar is evenly worked with a sponge scraper and the surface is then smoothed.
Processing tools: masonry spoon, smoothing trowel.

Treatment after application
The hardened plaster should be protected from rapid drying by spraying with water in warm, windy weather. The plastered surface can be covered with tiles, wallpaper, paint, mineral plaster.
Tool and cleaning instructions
Wash off tools with water immediately after finishing work. Clean dried residues mechanically.
