2755
TRASS FINISHING PLASTER

Formerly 223

Beautifully white and very fine.

With trass - so it stays in perfect condition.

  • Contains trass: Protects from efflorescence.
  • Naturally white: Ideal white background for painting.
  • Fine grain 0.4mm: Creates a very fine surface. Creamy consistency for easy application.
  • Highly water repellent: Suitable for all the facade including the splash water zone. Also for fences and retaining walls.
  • Increased adhesion: For reconstruction and new plastering.
  • Suitable for plastering of internal insulation systems based on e.g. calcium carbonate boards.

Area of application

  • Outdoors: wall + ceiling
  • Indoor: wall + ceiling
  • Suitable for monuments and historical buildings

Heating and cooling area

  • Wall + Ceiling

Processing method

  • For hand processing
  • For finishing treatment of walls and ceilings. For indoor and outdoor environments. For unifying the surface texture. For ETICS usage, we recommend CEMIX 2710 as 2755 is less flexible to compensate thermal expansion.

Processing details

Substrate requirement

The substrate must comply with the applicable standards, must be solid, free of loose particles, free of dust, paint, residues of demoulding substances and efflorescence. It must be sufficiently rough, dry and evenly absorbent. The surface shall not be frozen or water-repellent. The substrate must be stable in volume.

Substrate preparation

Depending on the absorbency of the substrate and the climatic conditions, it needs to be moistened. Coat the substrate with Cemix pre-sprinkler. If necessary, treat non-standard substrates with a suitable method to achieve the desired properties. The substrate must comply with applicable regulations, standards or material manufacturer's recommendations.

Preparation of the mixture

Pour 25 KG OF 2755 OF CEMIX TRASS FINISHING PLASTER into 8,0 - 8,5 L of clean water. Mix for 5 minutes with a slow-speed paddle mixer to a homogeneous mixture without lumps. Leave to rest for 3 minutes. Then mix again briefly. Use suitable machinery when processing by machine.

Processing instructions

Apply the plaster to the surface with a stainless steel trowel or other suitable tool. Level it to the desired level in a min. layer thickness. After the material has tightened and is pressure-resistant, smooth the surface for a uniformn appearance with a felt and then with a foam trowel while sprinkling with water. The plaster forms a base layer for Cemix coatings. Do not leave the render untreated for long periods of time outdoors (especially in winter).
