MODELLING PLASTER
Shaping plaster made easy
Modelling plaster for unique wall designs
- Fiber reinforced and highly flexible: Crack-reducing.
- Holds its form: Easily shapeable to create decorative designs.
- 0,7mm: Easy to smoothen due to its fine grain curve.
- High adhesion: Strong hold on problematic subsrates.
- CS III: 3,5 - 7.5 N/mm². Highly resistant surface.
- White colour: Creates the Ideal background for painting.
Area of application
- Outdoors: wall + ceiling
- Indoor: wall + ceiling
- Vapour permeable
Heating and cooling area
- Wall + Ceiling
Processing method
- For hand processing
- For surface treatment of base plasters on walls and ceilings. For indoor and outdoor use. For unifying the surface texture. For creative techniques.

Substrate requirement
The substrate must comply with the applicable standards, must be solid, free of loose particles, free of dust, paint, residues of demoulding substances and efflorescence. It must be sufficiently rough, dry and evenly absorbent. The surface shall not be frozen or water-repellent. The substrate must be stable in volume.
Substrate preparation
Depending on substrate water absorption and climatic conditions, use Cemix primer on absorbent substrates, roughen smooth substrates or use Cemix contact bridge. For non-standard substrates, modify with a suitable method to achieve the desired properties. Smooth out unevenness of the substrate with suitable Cemix materials and allow to dry and cure. The substrate shall comply with applicable regulations, standards, or material manufacturer's recommendations.
Preparation of the mixture
Pour 25 KG of 2710 MODELLING PLASTER into 6,25 - 7,25 L of clean water. Mix for 5 minutes using a slow-speed mixer to a homogeneous, lump-free mixture. Leave to rest for 3 minutes. Then mix again briefly. Use suitable machinery when processing by machine.

Processing instructions
Apply the plaster to the surface with a stainless steel trowel or other suitable tool. Level it to 3 - 5 mm layer thickness. After the material has tightened and is pressure-resistant, smooth the surface with a felt trowel and then with a foam trowel while sprinkling with water to achieve a uniform surface appearance.
For creative techniques and reliefs (e.g. waves, teeth, etc.) the application thickness is locally up to 15 mm.
The plaster requires to be painted. Do not leave the surface untreated for a long period of time (especially not over the winter period) outside.

Treatment after application
After application, avoid direct sunshine, heat, humidity and draughts.
Protect from frost and rain. Direct heating of the surface is prohibited.
Tool and cleaning instructions
Wash off tools with water immediately after finishing work. Clean dried residues mechanically.
