CEMENT ADHESIVE BRIDGE
For strong and reliable bonding
Cement adhesive bridge for bonded screeds
- High dispersion content: Ensures strong adhesion even on non-absorbent substrates
- Contains cement: Forms a secure bond between the cement-based materials
- For wet-in-wet application
Area of application
- Outdoor: floor
- Indoor: floor
Heating and cooling area
- Floor
Processing method
- For hand processing
- Ensuring adhesion between the load-bearing layer and the contact cement screed directly on it.
- Enhancing the adhesion of not structural concrete, cement mortar, and artificial stone materials poured on site on mineral substrates.
- For outdoor and indoor use.

Substrate requirement
The substrate must comply with the applicable standards, must be solid, free of loose particles, free of dust, paint, residues of demoulding agents and efflorescence. It must be sufficiently rough and evenly absorbent. The surface shall not be frozen and water-repellent. The minimum substrate cohesion shall be 1,5 MPa and the concrete quality C 20/25.
Substrate preparation
Remove contaminated, damaged, moldy and dusty parts. Roughen too dense and smooth substrates. Moisten the substrate one day before application.
Preparation of the mixture
Pour 25 KG OF CEMIX 5050 CEMENT CONTACT BRIDGE into 8,25 L of clean water. Mix for 5 minutes with a slow-speed paddle mixer to a homogeneous mixture without lumps. Leave to rest for 3 minutes. Then mix again briefly. Use suitable machinery when processing by machine.

Processing instructions
Apply the adhesive bridge to the surface in a thin layer using a brush or broom. Any exposed steel elements shall be fully covered with the material on all sides. The next layer should be applied while the contact bridge is still wet. If the adhesive bridge dries out, another layer must be applied.

Treatment after application
Low temperatures have a negative effect on the maturation and prolong the setting time of the material.
During processing, avoid frost, high heat and rain. Do not use when frost is expected.
Direct heating of the material is prohibited!
