FUGA PRO

Highly wear-resistant, waterproof grout

Premium flexible joint filler

  • Creamy consistency: easy to work with
  • Water-repellent: smooth surface, easy to clean
  • With excellent adhesion and flexiblity: ensures reliable long term connection to the tile
  • Extra abrasion resistance: suitable for high wear and tear

Area of application

  • Outdoor: floor + wall
  • Indoor: floor + wall

Heating and cooling area

  • Floor + Wall

Processing method

  • For hand processing
  • To fill the joints of outdoor and indoor ceramic, natural stone, gres, mosaic, and cement-bonded tile coverings. It can also be used on surfaces exposed to greater temperature fluctuations (e.g. balconies, terraces), floor and wall heating, as well as cement and synthetic resin-bonded spreadable waterproofing coverings. Ideal for surfaces exposed to heavy loads (e.g. terraces, walkways)

Substrate requirement

The surface must be of sufficient strength, dry, clean, free of dust and dirt and not frozen.

Substrate preparation

Excess adhesive material and other contamination must be removed from the joints. Grouting should only be started after the glue has completely dried.

Preparation of the mixture

Pour 2 KG of CEMIX 8630 FUGA PRO into 0.6 L of clean water. Mix with a low speed mixer to a homogeneous and lump-free mass. Let it ripe for 5 minutes. Then stir it up once more.

Processing instructions

The mortar is applied diagonally into the joints using a jointing trowel.
The grout must fill the joints right up to the substrate to ensure a stable and durable joint, even load distribution and mechanical strength. Failure to do so may result in cavities in which moisture collects, which can lead to frost damage.
The joint width depends on the tile size, the tile type and the installation location. Standard values:
Wall tiles Joint width 2 to 3 mm
Floor tiles Joint width from 3 to 5 mm
Large format tiles: Joint width from 5 to 10 mm
When the grout has reached the required strength, clean the surface with a wet sponge. Dry grout on the surface of the tiles is removed with a clean cloth.
